The Introduction
Let’s start with the foundation: you are smart, accomplished, and one of a kind – we already know that. But you want recruiters to remember you as quantitative, analytical, and good at synthesizing data. Or enthusiastic, friendly, and a strong communicator. What’s most important is the story you are telling. You’re in the driver’s seat when preparing your CV.
Hi there. My name is Grant Hushek
I studied engineering at UCLA before moving to Madrid to study strategic management at IE Business School. I’ve interned at a 13-person startup in Montreal (2019) and Boeing (2020). I currently work for Germany’s most successful startup, Celonis. I convinced them to sponsor my visa as a non-EU worker, too. Now I want to help non-native speakers land their first position.
Referrals from past clients
"Throughout my year at IE, Grant often helped me with dedication on how to approach the “application triangle”: CV, Cover Letter, and Interview. Thanks to his experience, his mastery of the language, and his knowledge of the job world’s mechanisms, he was able to give me tips and guidelines that regularly proved to be successful."
- Federico M. @ Uber"Grant helped me through the last step of the interview process, giving me suggestions on smart questions to ask in order to stand out. Since he has a startup, he knows what words on a resume might stand out to a recruiter. And it worked"
- Alessia D. @ Celonis"Grant provided me editing help on my CV which, in my opinion, worked out well. Grant knows how to frame the sentences perfectly and use the right words to make it more appealing for recruiters since they only check your CV for a split second. The smallest details make the difference."

The reason you're here is simple
You want someone to go through your CV line by line and clean things up (or do head-to-toe revision). Your cover letter needs a second pair of eyes. Someone to go through interview questions with you and build out the best part of your answers. My favorite question is the inevitable “tell me about yourself.”
I optimize the entire application package.
I know how frustrating it can be
There are hundreds if not thousands of students stealing your career advisor’s time. When we have a meeting, I’ll turn my phone off, lock the door, and only focus on your goals. This is 1-to-1, line-by-line, personal recommendations on how to improve your odds of landing that internship or first job out of school.
What we'll do
We’ll work on getting past the ATS system through creative CV edits. I’ll share tips for getting in the side door of the recruitment system like informational interviews. You will learn the best practices for job applications so that you don’t need me in the future. I’m like Bumble and Hinge – made to be deleted. **We’ll start the first FREE session by answering these three questions:
1. What is your dream job/company/industry?
2. How will this job help you get there?
3. What accomplishment from the last 3 years are you most proud of?Before I wrap this up, I need to make one thing clear: you are in control of your own destiny. I can show you the best practices for earning the interview and getting a job, but it takes work. Work that you will be responsible for. If you’re not ready, bookmark this page and come back when you are.__If you're interested in working with me to improve your application package, please drop your name and email below!** __
